An 8 cylinder diesel (e420 cdi) exists ?? How come we don't get that here in the states?!

a v8 diesel doesnt exist, check Mercedes Germany website.

For the new model W212 it does not exist.

In Europe we have had the V8 diesel (4liters capacity, 314 HP) for the previous model W211 until oct nov 2008. I just bought one one month ago from June 2008.

Engine is 629 910
