380SL rough idle no engine torque on accel.

1983 380 sl has a bit of a miss at idle found multiple vaccum leaks and disconnected vacc lines which I repaired according to Alldata vaccum diagrams...now idle is around 1500 at park position and has no torque on acceleration untill higher rpm still not what I think it should be ... is anyone able to shed light on this.. the timing has been checked and confirmed

Thanks Jay

Found the problem!! The red and blue wire to the idle control module is the power, there was no voltage , idle control module was inoperative. jumped power to the module and everything came to life.now have to trace the power wire to find the short.

ok

Your problem sounds like the same one I was going to post.
High idle RPM in park. Regular when put in Drive.
