91 300TE OVP fixed...but...

I followed the threads dealing with OVP and lo and behold the 10 amp fuse was blown!

I replaced the fuse, which immediately eliminated the ABS light from the dash and made the cooling fans work again...but...the engine now idles at about 1200rpm and stays there. It did not do that prior to the fuse replacement so...any ideas?

Thanks,

OVP

Uh Oh! You might have to replace the OVP relay itself. Just replaced mine on my 1989 300E with 96,000 miles. Everything works well now...........................Ordered mine online for around $60.
