where to get Factory Shop Manual CD
I'd like to get a FSM CD that covers at least the 80s-90s W124 E-class M103/4. It would be nice if it covered 90s-00s W210 E-class as well. I'm particularly interested in diagnostics, electronics, specs and special tools. Maybe someone could tell me:
Where is a good source for these (besides ebay)? Do the CDs cover multiple chassis/classes or are they more specific? IMPORTANT!: Will they run on a MAC computer? About how much do they cost? I would consider used ones if anyone has some they don't need anymore. Thanks |

None of the Mercedes software work under OS X, you'll need to have a Windows partition and something like Bootcamp, VM Fusion or Parallels.

Thanks for the responses guys, I appreciate it.
Having a MAC can be bit of a problem this way. I bought a VADIS CD for my Volvo S80 from some schmuck on ebay which didn't work (got a copied DVD instead of the "genuine" item advertised and it wouldn't open at all on my MAC like he told me it would). Even a computer programmer at work couldn't get it to run on his blitzed-out monster PC. So I need to be sure whatever I get will work before I buy it. I'll check the sites you guy posted so far. I'm a die-hard MAC user but I guess I could borrow my kid's laptop PC if I had to (I'd almost rather ride a bicycle!, almost). |
