Need help replacing door grab handles on 96 E320

Need help replacing door grab handles on 96 E320

Can anyone help w/info on how to install. I bought the parts but it looks like I have to remove the door assembly to be able to screw the top part on to the power seat housing or is the plastic piece behind the handle removable so I can get at the screw?
