Aux air valve or warm up regulator?

I'm having problems recently with my 280CE with M110 injected engine with drivability when cold. It starts right up but will bog when given gas until warmed up for about 4-5 minutes. There is also a vacumn or whistle sound near the front left of the engine. Is the WUR or AAV the likely cause, and what is more likely. Both are hard to access, even from underneath. I was planning to remove the intake anyway to adjust the steering box and replace a oil drain hose that is disintegrated. Both would be easy to access at that point, but can't run the engine until the intake is back on and everything back together. Advice?

Put a vacuum gauge on it; what's it read at idle?
