Hi guys I am usually asking about my old 124 but have a question on a newer car. 2003 s430 w 33k often when releasing the parking brake you need to put your foot underneath the foot pedal to get it to release. I am guessing that this could be rectified by adjustment. Anyone have any pointers on how to go about this.

Most of the time on that model & most after 1996, that is related to the pedal itself.

Adjustment of pedal
Is there any way to adjust the pedal mechanism or is there generally a bind inside the movement?
Thanks |

Has a clockspring that can gum-up & cause that issue.
