Has anyone performed the flush on the 722.6 transmission as described in the above link to the amsoil directions??? If so, describe any other neccessary details and the success or failure after have completed it. Thanks
I did this on my ford excursion and it worked grest. I disconnected the return hose at the transmission ran the truck until it pumped out about 2 qts, stopped the engine and added 2 qts and repeated until bright red fluid came out.
I like this method as opposed to draining SOME fluid and adding to the old fluid for a not so old fluid ratio.
I cleaned the pan and magnet that was there.
