1995 E320 Wagon

My blower stopped working...except (and I live near Phoenix) twice last week when it was really cold, it started, warmed me up and then died.

Has this happened to you? I am trying to decide which section to go for first...the blower or the controls-temp sensor. Odometer is at 170K.

thanks.

Remove the 30-amp strip fuse in the black plastic enclosure atop the driver's side shock tower to see if it's cracked. Over time they develop a transverse hairline crack and need to be replaced.
