Ricky, very nice unit . . .

in that all needed interconnections are furnished; battery jumpers, banana plug for 8/16 pole interfaces, etc..

Also you do not have to change pins in the 'mushroom' since it's all automatic; pin are selected by the function automatically in the unit.

The unit was $495 and are on special for $399.

Thanks, Jim...

I think I'm getting myself a little Christmas gift. I'm in New York for the holidays and will be ordering it soon...

By the way, is there anyone I look for to get the discount?

Thanks again!

which code scanner?

When I go to the site I get confused. I want a 38pin scanner, and do not have OBDII on my car (94 sl600). Which unit? I cannot find any prices either. Can you help?

Scanners

give them a call at 805-654-8290 for technical info or email at: sales@technictool.com

I agree that it's best to get a 38pin DIAG connector scanner since the codes are returned in MB 'language' rather than cryptic OBD language.

review of Trisco PALM scanner

has been posted on my web page. To see, click on the WWW below and select MENU ITEM #3.

Here's the direct link to the page: http://pages.prodigy.net/jforgione/mb_scnrs.html

In general, it's a very worthwhile addition to the DIYer toolbox. For modern MBs, it's a necessity!
