Thumbs down Accidently closed glove box without release handle

Okay, so I had a stupid moment

We took the glove box handle off today on the 300E to have a key made so we can finally lock the doors! All we have is an ignition key. Well my dad left to go take it and I needed to move the car in and as a habit I closed the glove box door shut

I don't see an obvious way to open it again and the release handle is still at the locksmith, is it as easy as just putting the handle back on and opening it or is it worse? Ughhhh

It sounds like it should be that easy.
