Not to burst anybody's bubble, but using a Megasquirt or similar system will not make the M104-24V much faster then if it's properly tuned with the stock HFM.

but the entire MS system seems to be a whole lot cheaper than replacing all the electronics with original equipment...

the engine was submerged, the MS is just a last ditch effort to salvage the engine... if and when the submerged electronics fail.

when that happens its gonna be a diesel swap...
