I recently purchased a bulb socket for my '99 E320 and ideally I would like to replace the entire wiring system in the headlight. Is there a specefic name for this particular wiring system? I cannot locate it.. The Bulb socket must have been drawing too much amps/heat and the bulb housing became real brittal as well as the wiring coating leading up to the socket. I did replace but I was thinking it would be nice just to replace the entire wiring inside the headlight.. any suggestions?

The only way to replace wiring INSIDE the headlight is to do it yourself or purchase an entire new headlight. Wiring not available separately from Mercedes (or any other car manufacturer on the planet).
