1994 C-220

Does anyone have procedure for removing and installation cylinder head for 94C-220

I have a leaking head gasket and need necessary sequence and torque values.

You can get Haynes Manual 3511 for that car.

Did you just need the torque sequence and values or the instructions for removal too? The torque sequence and values is:

Looking at the motor:

Between cyl#2 and cyl#3, left bank 1st bolt, right bank 2nd bolt
Between cyl#1 and cyl#2, left bank 3rd bolt, right bank 4th bolt
Between cyl#3 and cyl#4, left bank 5th bolt, right bank 6th bolt
Front most head bolts(not the M8x35mm bolts), Left bank 7th bolt, right bank 8th bolt
Rear most head bolts, left bank 9th bolt, right bank 10th bolt

Do the reverse of above sequence to loosen th bolts.

Torque values for head bolts:
Stage 1: 55Nm
Stage2: 90*
Stage3: 90*

Torque value for bolts to front cover (M8x35mm):
Stage 1: 18Nm
Stage 2: 90* <---- i think a bit excessive for an M8 bolt, use judgement.

Bolt stretch info:
New length: 102mm
Length need to be less than or equal to 105mm.

If you need the instructions let me know, i can maybe fax them to ya.
