190E died and now won't start.

Car is a 1986 190E 2.0.

I'm trying to diagnose this over the phone - not easy!

Car was running fine. Died, and won't restart.

Fuel pump primes when ignition is turned on,

Engine has spark.

I'm thinking fuel pump relay so far - I was thinking crank position sensor, but the spark is still there which made me rule that one out.

Anybody else have any ideas?

System needs 85psi of fuel pressure.

Also check for vacuum leak at plenum area

If the fuel pump primes when you turn the key to ignition then I don't think its the fuel pump relay
