Hello all, love this place! Have a 1991 190e 2.6, While in the junkyard, found a 1990 190e 2.6 and have the following question: Can I scrounge the
MAS air sensor , ABS control unit,ECM and Ignition control module and use it in my Benz ? I am rather new to the world of benz. The donor car is smashed on the drivers side ,so I assume it was running when it "died" I know the price of these parts new is pretty high, but it would be nice to have some spare parts such as this for the future. the yard wants 35.00 for each "computer" a good investment or heartache? any info or links would be appreciated thanks to all !

They aren't coded to any car & will work in any car designed for that part number.
The MAS is a relay module that turns on/off different items under the hood & supplies power to the fuel pump. Not a sensor.

Thank you very much for the info, my thought is that if my current parts go kaput I have something to stop gap for a while. the mas cost 5.00 and the
ignition control module was 10.00 . not a whole lot lost if they do not work . Thanks again! css190e |
