1990 spuddered then no start cold or warm

I started to experiance a spudder at low RPM's. This was only happening once in awhile. The other night after setting at an idle for approx. 20 minutes, I started to drive off and the car just cut off. It would not start then and I have not been able to get it to start since. I have replaced the Coil, Plugs, Cap, rotor. I sprayed starte fliud and not even a cough. I metered the coil output and the voltage dropped while I would crank the motor over. I have read many of the threads and it seems that I might want to replace the OVP. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

How do you meter the coil output?

Check out my post about the OVP in thread below. By moving or unplug/plug the OVP may help you diagnose the problem.

Also if the intake manifold is flooded, it would not help.

Good luck
Michael
