I have a 95- C-280. The drivers side door lock does not work at all. but the passenger side does. Any one have an idea what i can look for or what I need to get to repair it. Also the left rear window is in the up position. If you try to open it it sounds like glass being crushed up in the blender. What is that? There is a motor noise. Would it be the regulator?
IS it an easy fix?

All thoughts appreciated!

When you say the door lock doesn't work??
Does the door lock & unlock when you use the passenger door OR trunk?

If yes? then when you use the key, does it feel like nothing is connected?

2) the rear window regulators are a common issue & are replaced as an assembly.

If I put the key in and turn the drivers door lock - nothing happens. The passenger side does lock every thing, all doors & trunk. What is the problem - Is it any easy fix?

It could be a simple as a missing split roll pin.

Removal of the key tumbler would tell.
