C43 Climate Control Unit wacky

Hey everyone,

Recently I changed the crank position sensor on my C43 (noticed a bit more power or is it just me?) and a few days after that even though its probably not related, the electronic HVAC unit when you turn on the car and its left on auto, decides to blow the fan on max and run the AC....after some fiddling with the temp up and down and shutting it off from auto it seems to settle but its never done this before and its not any hot weather eitheir.

Can this unit be reset or is it on its way out?

Thanks kindly

That & most MB's after 1993 use electronic blower regulator control units, and that part is the most common issue.

Mounts to the blower motor.

Ok thanks!

Today I just took it off AUTO mode and ran it according to how I want and it was fine.
