1990 300TE Transmission Question...What are those two 6 inch fluid lines on driver

2 wheel drive wagon with the m103 engine. On the 1990 300TE driver side of transmission, There are two fluid lines about 6 inches long that connects to what looks like a pressure switch at the end connecting them. A wire come down and connects to what looks like the pressure switch. These two lines are in addition to the cooler lines. Can anyone tell me what that is for?

That was for MB's 1st attempt at "up-shift delay".
When activated, the solenoid allowed governor fluid pressure bleed off.

When the engine was cold the trans would hold lower gears longer to help with catalyst warm-up.
