E430 Codes

Does anybody know what the codes are for when you press REST and AUTO on the climate controll panel.. I know that 24 is for the voltage. Mine reads 13.5 I thought it should be up around 14.5 volts, am I right...

Check this article I wrote: http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ic/ic40142.htm

All the tables are for the 210 chassis car. It was specifically writen for an E320 but they all should be the same.

Stevebfl/Phouse:

Have you seen any problem with the LED on the AC unit? The red LED on the left side of the AUTO button seems to have a cold solder. The LED is somtimes on or off. Sometimes it is off, but after a few minutes it is on. However, once is on, it never goes off. The LED on the right side of the AUTO button does not have this problem.

Thanks

Car Nut,

I think it's normal and has something to do with the smog sensor for the charcoal filter.

Are you saying that the light is a indication that the Smog sensor or filter needs attention ?

No, the light in the AUTO button is normal!
If the charcoal filter button light flashes, then I would worry. Otherwise, you're fine!!

Were you able to get all of the codes? I had them all for the W210 chassis, but I'm sure it's long gone by now!
Good luck,
