SLK 32 Cylinder 5 misfire
Hi All,
My check engine light came on, and getting the code pulled at Advanced Auto revealed a "Cylinder 5 misfire". Fortunately I was planning on doing the plugs and wires soon anyway and already have them in my garage. I read on BenzWorld that it's good practice to replace the coil on the misfiring cylinder since the bad plugs might make that coil work harder and fail sooner. To do this, I need to know which cylinder is cylinder 5. How does the cylinder numbering go on the 112? Also, is there a stamp on the engine somewhere I can check? I plan on replacing the plugs/wires this weekend and ordering the coil from ******** soon. Thanks for the help! Pepper
