can the injector be fixed?

Hello,
I am having a similar problem with a leaking injector on a 1984 300SD.
The fuel lines are tight, the overflow lines are tight, and I replaced the seal under the injector and it still leaks.
It appears to be coming from the center of the injector where the two halves are joined together.
Can this be fixed or is it better to just replace the whole piece?

Thanks

Danny
