Over Kill?
Anyone here ever had the feeling that German car manufactures made these things just a little too well? I just tuned up my 1990 300TE and this thing is a tank, but, there were issues...this stupid plastic splash guard prevented the ease of removal of the distributor cap..so, I just snapped the plastic piece of crap off..will never make any difference.....

Well see, you watch youll hit a puddle and now without that gaurd your car will stall or crap out due to moisture that got past the seal. Those guys put it there for a reason, even if we dont know what for.

Its not the plastic cover that gets me its that poxy hard to get at bolt at the bottom of the distributor cap which requires some contortional dexterity to get at

Well hopefully it allows water and moisture to kill your ignition system and you won't post here any more since every post you make is garbage.
