Cluster problems?

Hello everybody
Just finish changing the evaporator and heater core on my 99 SL 500. What a pain in the behind that was, every thing is back together, new dryer, new valve, recharged and working, now my traction control light triangle comes on flickering and my acelerator goes dead taking off unless I depresed it very lightly and the vents switch mode when I push the gas pedal, I did disconnect the battery prior to any removal and I did disconected the cluster wiring from behind it since the dash and the center console and the steering wheel had to be removed. All switches, lights except for the one behind the clock are working and a burned light bulb needs to be replaced below the right hand vent control and the passenger vanity mirror light do not work, but otherwise the vehicle components seem to be working properly.
This is disturbing to say the least and is possible, though extreme care and steps where taken I might have miss something or damage the cluster without knowing it.
any ideas are welcome thanks

Maybe you forgot a plug/connection on the back of the cluster. I would double check all connections at the back of the cluster first.
