2006 C230 Sedan Loss of Power

Hello all,
This is my first time posting but i've been reading for a while now...

Today on the way home from work i had to gun it to get past a car and about a minute after that i looked down and noticed the CEL came on. I was clear on the other side of Houston so i decided to make my way home instead of opting for a tow truck during rush hour. The better part of the drive home was on the free way and there was a drastic loss in power when i would try to accelerate. When i left my office i had to also gun it to get onto the freeway and there was no power loss, nor was there any on the way to work this morning.

When i exited the freeway on the way home and got to a stop light the car started putting and i got the feeling it was going to die so i put it into neutral and gave it enough gas to idle normal then on acceleration the power was horrible and felt like i was driving a Geo metro or something.

When i was near my house i stopped into Autozone and they told me i was getting the P0306 code, which i read is misfire in cylinder #6...Had a funny feeling that it had something to do with my fuel injectors so i got some Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner and added it to the car - when i got back in my car to go home the CEL was flashing for a few seconds then it went to the solid light - any ideas what that means?

When i got home i turned the car off and then add it to the gas tank...I'm hoping that is the problem and it will be an easy fix but any ideas?

By the way this is an auto trans

Thanks for any help or ideas!!
