Hello guys,
I am very new to this board. I have a '97 C36. Recently I notice that when in idle, I open the door and listen under the car, there is ticking/clicking noise. The noise is not very loud. Seems louder in the passanger side. If I rev the engine slowly, the noise slowly fades away, but come back again when idle. I am suspicious with the exhaust manifold or exhaust gasket. I did some searching in this board regarding C36 noises, but seems like none fit my description very well. I just get my serpentine belt changed and oil sensor. I believe I had this noise before the new belt. Any info and help will be appreciated. Thank you, |

If it seems to be worse when engine and temps are cold maybe it s just the injectors. Mine sometimes does this since it was new.
