Need part # for M119 radiator?????
I was looking under my hood today (94, E420) and I noticed that the radiator fluid was low. What I thought I just changed it. Then I look at the radiator and see that the over flow hose is leaking. But not on the hose, but the little elbow that connects the tube to the over flow tank. The elbow is on the right side of the radiator and it is plastic. It is about 2 inch long by about 1/2 inches high. Can anyone tell me the part number? I would like to get one soon.
Thanks Subman Oh yea went to the track today and ran a 15.43 @ 92.74 mph

Go to the Fastlane Catalog here on this site and type in 0005000894 in the parts search and it brings up a picture of the part I think your talking about.

Hey guys
Thanks a lot again. I just got back from the dealer and I have the part. It cost me 6.39 which is highway robbery compared to parts shop. It probly cost me 2 bucks in gas to get there and back but I have it now. I'll change it when the motor cools off. I love parts shop/ fast lane I buy from them all the time but it was not, the appropiate thing to do. May be if I were making a bigger order. And the shipping was like $4 and change. Thanks for the part # I did not even think to use that # in a search. Thanks All Subman Oh yea while I was at the dealer I saw a SLK 32 it was awsome. They had a total of 7 AMG cars wow! 1 SLK 32 2 S 55 1 CL 55 3 ML 55

Part # for radiator
I did a search and found your post, and hope you could help us. That same elbow plastic thing was leaking on my MB, and when my husband tried to tighten it, the end broke that was connected to a tube in the radiator. Can this be fixed? Thanks for your help. Elaine

Yes it can.
But be very careful not to let the other half drop into the radiator. Take the hose off behind the elbo and put something in there to catch all the little bits that come falling out. Believe me do this I did not and I had to take the radiator out to get the bits out. Goood Luck Oh yea mine is now leaking again, however I do not know if it is the elbow or the hose connecting it. But I need to fix it again. Subman

Excuse me, I should have checked before I posted. Nothing fell - whew! Do you know what this part is named? I printed this whole post, and have the part numbers listed. It is a 94 E420.
Doesn't sound lke they last very low. My husband sai it was kind of a chinzy way it was set up!. AGAIN, thanks for your help. Elaine |

I believe it is called an "Radiator Overflow Fitting". I dont think it is "chincy" the plactic is under high heat for long periods of time, and it can not last forever.

Thank you Subman. He just didn't like the setup, and we hope to get it fixed asap. Someone had said we would need to replace the whole radiator, so this thread and your answer was really good news. We really like the MB, and are anxious to get it back on the road. Again, your help is very much appreciated. Elaine
