The local Wal-Mart here had 0W40 Mobil 1 229.5 Oil the last time I was in there looking around AND the price was really good AIR $6.20 or so a quart. It was in the new Mobil 1 Bottles also. They had Fram filters for about $11 (with the O rings in the box).

They did not have it at the one I checked but there is another one I can check.
maybe I can get them to get it in if it is in their system computers.

I saw that tool poking around online but can't seem to remember where now.

Yes, use the special tool. Then you can apply the proper torque when reinstalling as well.

Acceptable Mobil 1 oils are

European Formula 0W-40 (229.5)

Formula M ESP 5W-40 (229.51) made for diesels but works in all

I would rather use an old sock than Fram filters, The worst fu**ing piece of s**t filters ever made. Hengst is my first choice.
