The local Wal-Mart here had 0W40 Mobil 1 229.5 Oil the last time I was in there looking around AND the price was really good AIR $6.20 or so a quart. It was in the new Mobil 1 Bottles also. They had Fram filters for about $11 (with the O rings in the box).

Yes, use the special tool. Then you can apply the proper torque when reinstalling as well.
Acceptable Mobil 1 oils are European Formula 0W-40 (229.5) Formula M ESP 5W-40 (229.51) made for diesels but works in all

I would rather use an old sock than Fram filters, The worst fu**ing piece of s**t filters ever made. Hengst is my first choice.
