EC light won't turn off 1997 320sl

this just began yesterday, the EC light is illuminated and won't turn off, i've searched the posts and ran a diagnostic on the display w/ the following results:

The usual cause for the EC light coming on is low refrigerant.

pressure is over 25

i checked the pressure w/ a cheap interdynamics guage and it reads in the blue which is good. any other suggestions?, please

Same issue on my 96 S420

ANC4, running into same issue. Mine was low on refrig, so took it to local indy I trust, he held a vacuum and rechraged, but the E/C light would come on and no cold. If you turned the ignition off then back on, e/c copuld be turned off and cold ac. Problem is that the cold has disappreared after 2 months, so leak is the assumption, but I have good pressure as well, but no AC?

I am thinking that the push button control is having issues. Anyone have a suggestion Thanks
