my alternator belt gave out after only 3 months .....looks a bit thin compared to the new one i bought....possible???

I just went to NAPA for my belts on my SEC and the SD, have had no issues with the belts I got.

If it gave out at 3 months, I'd be checking to make sure that there isn't an alignment issue, or possibly a bur on one of the pulley wear surfaces.
