The 99 is from a junkyard, its glass. The one on my 94 c280 is painted metal. These things are hard to come across, will it fit????

They are both W202's. That is all I can tell you unfortunately.

I have a similar issue, but the donor is a glass sunroof from a '95 w202. It seems they should fit, but I don't know quite yet, gonna have to disassemble and see. Read everything you can find on it (here and everywhere.) and be careful, the alignment on these buggers is crucial. (and very easy to screw up.)
