Angry C230 BAS ESP Problem

I have been battling a randomly occurring problem for neary two years now. I have no check engine light but occassionally the BAS ESP light will come on and it usually self corrects and goes away. I assume that this is a relatively simple issue and I am overlooking something obvious since the BAS ESP does not stay illuminated. I have read that one or more of the wheel speed sensors could be faulty, but wouldn't that show up on my diagnostic software?

I can always recognize when the problem begins to occur by a slight shimmy in the steering wheel at highway speeds (it is NOT wheels/tires). This may be psychosomatic but worth mentioning anyway....when i notice the shimmy return it is only at highway speeds. On the highway when the shimmy occurs it also feels like the car begins to track awkwardly for a moment (similar to bad wheel bearings). When driving around town it seems that the car struggles to accelerate.

When I notice the problem I can jack the car up in the garage and sometimes both calipers appear to be sticking slightly and other times it is only one or the other of the calipers sticking slightly and other times neither are sticking. I have had two complete brake jobs in a year and a half including rotors and pads. After each service the car drove like a dream for roughly a week and then the slight shimmy in the steering wheel would return. In addition to the pads and rotors I have had both wheel bearings replaced twice, both calipers replaced and both brake hoses replaced and the problem is not corrected (brakes were thoroughly bled half a dozen times by indy).

Am I overlooking something obvious here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want my Benz back.

i believe that problem is the brake light switch on the pedal.common prob, use only oem switch from dealer.the computers for the traction control need to know when you take your foot off brake otherwise they tend to go off the deep end, hence the strange behavior.
