Removing rear W201 bumper at the junkyard
Anyone that has done this could tell me what tools would I need? I need to get a bumper off without having to carry 200lbs of tools or missing the last socket that I needed to get it out.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.. |

If I recall correctly, all you'll need is a 10mm and possibly a 12mm socket to undo the bolts on the reinforcement bar.

Great thing about the W201 and W124 chassis cars . . . You can pretty much "de-bone" 95% of the car with hand tools from a basic metric tool kit.

two bolts from underneath, 2 from inside the trunk. super SUPER easy.
I want to say 13 or 14mm

Yeah, I could do maybe half the car with my little MB(12mm and 13mm I think) wrench. That is until I lost it.
