starter does not turn, start, w140
Reconnecting the battery of the MB 400sel-93, W140, it did not want to start. I fully recharged the battery, 13.6 volts, jumped the starter and was working perfectly. Thinking on the neutral switch, I replaced with a new one, but starter does not turn, when using engine switch. Using the malfunction codes ftrom the 38 pin socket, appear:
Socket 7 (EA.CC/ISC CONTROL MODULE) N4/1 or 3.- Code 002 (cc/isc control mode). Code 005 ( no literature indication). code 006 (Safety contact switch,M16/3S1). What is the safety contact switch. Socket 8 (Base Module), Code 12 (Base Modul N16/1 voltage supply output Fuse F1, open circuit). Socket 12 Speed Sensitive Power Steering P-VALVE Y/10 short circuit. I can not ckeck the new installed neutral switch to see if is working properly and if is sending signal to starter since the 4 pole and 2 small pole are not identified in the wiring plug. Do you have this plug poles illustration. Any idea of the above malfunction to test and has something related to starter not receiving signal. Recommend me somebody just incase you are not familiar with starting system Thanks again Wil |
