300td

1979 300D station wagon. The transmission slips. Fluid leaks too. Discovered that the fluid leaks seems to be forward of the transmission based on the pool lying on the garage floor. Could it be that there's such a thing as a transmission cooling line that could be leaking? If there is, would this cause the transmission to slip? Or is it toast?
