w124 coupe/cabrio sun visors

Are they interchangeable with the sedan visors?

reason I ask is that I had the top down today and I guess the passenger side vanity mirror cover decided to leave the car

replacement mirror lid for visor

No, not interchangeable. The visor body is smaller for Cab than visor for sedan.

However, the mirror/light/lid assembly IS the same for all visors. You can order a new assembly, remove the broken lid one you have now, and glue in the replacement. You need a color code. Part 129-810-23-17 xxxx. I have done this for my Cabriolet. The blue plastic is well known to break down or crack.

Call the forum sponsor to order- it is not listed online.

Also, the Cab visor is the same as the 129 SL visor, so you could look for a used one in the color you need.

I'd appreciate it. The only hard part will be the visor since it has the print on it. I'll be at Lake Mirror. Just got my packet today

I lost the cover to the vanity mirror.

you can replace just the vanity cover part but the whole thing is usually FUBAR'd (and mine are) so the whole thing needs to be replaced.

Did you consider calling by phone this forum's sponsor?

I got them through buymbparts dot com just over a year ago; found the packing slip but not the invoice.

I would believe $310 for the complete sunvisor, but not for the mirror/light assembly alone.
