4 matic question

New to me '05 C240 4matic.

Doesn't seem that it should, but when making short turns it sounds as though the wheels are scrubbing, especially noticeable at low speeds. Sounds/feels like my old four wheel drive pickup in 4wheel drive on hard pavement (something I try not to do). Is this normal?

Thanks, Jim
