Your signature says 1990 190E.
Is this a 2.3 or 2.6? CA version or federal version?

ok so this is the part I replaced a few weeks ago after I disconnected the vacuum hose and didn't feel any suction . good news is that today I noticed that my check engine light was off and I didn't even reset it.however, on the part in the pic there is a small nozzle and the vacuum tube was on, but not pushed flush against the base so I'm hoping my issue is resolved. the light hasn't come back on all day so I will keep u all posted.
