1994 E320 noise on the pass. side lower dash area
I have 1994 E320 with 185,000 miles.
It recently began a noise on the passenger side lower dash area. Sometimes sounds like vent door opening and closing and sometimes sounds like a sliding piece of plastic. Any suggestions as to what the cure is? Last edited by whunter; 11-13-2010 at 03:14 AM. Reason: Spelling |

The a/c vacuum control assembly is located next to the passenger air bag.
UNDER the passenger floor is the ea/cc/isc computer.

Thanks. Had all interior flooring and panels out yesterday, it would not make the noise at idle. No other issues happen while the noise comes on.
![]() I tried all a/c temp control switch settings and complete shut off of dash push buttons but it did not make any difference. Last edited by OMURP; 11-11-2010 at 02:00 PM. Reason: Additional Info |

It could be a vent door opening and closing or a sliding piece of plastic.
