fuse #3 & #9 W116

I just blew these two fuses and my heater quit, replaced, works fine. They blew after a cold start. didn't notice till I got back in car, fan was working fine when I started the car...imminent heater fan failure?

The #1 cause of this type of failure #3 & #9 fuse on W116) is a shorted A/C low pressure cutoff switch on the drier. It will short even if the A/C system is discharged AND the compressor clutch is unhooked.

Unhook the two wires at the A/C low pressure switch on the drier and retest....Robert
