Hi All,

1. Is there an engine and/or transmission reverse look-up to VIN number feature in Mercedes EPC, I looked high and low at the help function but no avail?

2. What would be the scenario I would need this: Let’s say I go to the junk yard to buy a used “off-the shelf” engine and/or transmission, the guy tells me it’s from a wrecked car with only 50K on it. If I have a reverse look-up and it gives me the VIN, I can run a CARFAX on it and get the info on the car that it came from including the mileage. Also if the car was maintained by the dealer they can get the full report of what was done.

2. Oh FYI I have a subscription, had it since when we had to pay $20/monthly, now it’s free! For reference to other folks here I never ever had problems with my credit card with them messing around with it…
