98 E320 Turn Signal Relay Problem
My daughter's 98 E320 has recently had a problem with her turn signals in that they will not work, emergency flashers too.
When I pull the under hood relay p/n 002 542 03 19, or even touch it, the signals and flasher start working again. This has happened now about 3 times. The relay appears to be a solid state unit as the base is potted with epoxy. I'm assuming it is faulty, but would appreciate any thoughts on the subject as it's expensive, and, while we are at it, the fuse list calls for the one handling the turn signals to reside in #41 location. There doesn't seem to be a #41 as both under the hood and next to the battery there is about 26 locations and about 10 or so on the side of the dash. Any ideas where it is??? Many thanks, Ron
