91 300E: No power to Blower Motor
Blower motor works fine. Unplugged three prong connector on firewall just behind brake master cylinder, and I am getting no power at the plug coming from the car. Not sure what or where to check next...

the Fuse Coffin
The blower fuse in in a small back, coffin shaped plastic container that's about a foot in front of the master brake cylinder (toward the front) along engine bay firewall, next to the strut tower. Squeeze to open upwards and you should see a small aluminum strip that is hopefully broken. It's a $2 part, get some spares, that only take two screws to install. While you're at it, clean the contacts and the both the top and underside of the leads. To be safe, you can first disconnect the ground at the battery.
Let us know what happened. Good luck.

temp fix for strip fuse
It just developes a hairline crack with age and just goes one day. Once I found this out, I change it when I see that the shine leaves the aluminum. It's so cheap to replace, why not. It takes a while for it to change. Unless there's a problem with the blower wiring, this is the number one cause of sudden failure.
Temp fix you describe will work until you can get the correct fuse. Bridging it for a moment to test the fan should work. Be warned though, I'm an owner like you and not a mechanic... though the other night, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express... Al
