Engine mount - Adjusting?

Hi guys,

I've recently swapped the engine mounts.

I was wondering, do they just get tightened as they are one placed, or should the engine be rocked/turned on etc before tightening the bolts?
ie, so that the mounts "seat" properly?

When I did the mounts on my 300CD last year it was one at a time, and when I did the last one the engine needed cough 'gentle' persuasion with prybars and 2x's to get it to where it had to go. if yours bolted right back in I'd say you got it right.

I would tighten the bolts after setting the motor down on them.

That's the only mistake I know that can be made.. Fluid filled mounts have a notch which must be aligned.
