Standard Shift Tranny

I know that the 190's had a stick in some of them; however I was unsure if any of the 260 or 300E like cars ever had one in them?? Also, the E300's.

You could get a manual transmission in the US on the 300E from I believe 1986 to 1988. Very few were sold. IIRC it was under 1000. The R129 300SL could also be equipped with a manual transmission. I have seen a few from the early years of production. Again, I don't think they sold that many so they stopped importing them for US markets.

Thanks for getting back on this! I always thought it would be cool to have one of those mid-size with 5 Speed O.D. in it. Cut down the rev's and bring in more efficiency cruising.
