W140 No Heat! A/C Works!

I have a 92 S320 that will not give me any heat whatsoever. Blower works great and even delivers air where I want it but will not get warm. The A/C works great.
I have a 5 hose duo valve but not sure how to test it to see if it is working. I have found a lot of info about the mono valves.
How can I test the duo valve to determine that that's the problem before I spend $200 on a used one or $450 on a new one?

Try unplugging the electrical connector from the duo valve & then slightly tap on the side of each of the valves.. leave unplugged.

Unplugged it and tapped on both sides of the duo valve. Still didn't work.

I continued to search this forum for a DIY on the duo valve and found one!! I have been outside taking it apart for the last 2 hrs and have found that the rubber seats are actually in very good shape. But one valve had a large flat piece of rubber stuck in it and the other valve was frozen. I got the one unfrozen and it seems to have rusted in place. I cleaned off the magnet head with 100 grit sand paper. Cleaned the rest of the module and will get it back together after lunch.

I will let you know how/if it works. I had absolutely nothing to loose but time....and that's cheap.

Partial Fix Duo valve

Well, I completely disassembled the duo valve. Not a difficult job at all. It's to bad there is no repair kit for these.
Now I have heat to the driver's side only. One of the "umbrella" plungers was frozen in the bottom seal, it was the same one that had the head of the plunger rusted in the cylinder.
The next nice day I have I will just remove the "umbrella" plungers all together and then have uncontrollable heat.
