It seems my 260E's compressor has gone and I think it is going to be difficult to find someone who will be able to recover the R12 locally and hold it for me while I replace the compressor.

Is there a cheap way to store it at home? I have a professional grade vacuum pump that has what looks like an attachment to recover.
And no I am not switching to r134a...I just backconverted to R12 to get away from that junk.

Any ideas, is it possible cheaply?
