A couple of technical items of merit regarding the new C-Class.

* HVAC - the receiver/drier is integral with the evaporator. The time-honored method of replacing the drier in conjunction with repairs on an open A/C system will now be accomplished by merely opening an access port and renewing a desiccant bag.

* Drive train - flex discs are no longer individual, renewable components: the discs are permanently affixed to the driveshaft. Flex disc failure will be remedied by driveshaft replacement.

jgl1,

Great pieces of information, keep them coming.

I'm still upset with MBUSA, but maybe they'll come off their high horse, yeah, right. So, I want to learn more about the car.

Thanks and have a great day,
Larry
