1997 E420 w210 - ASR problem

I searched through other ASR problems, but they did not sound exactly the same, so I am starting this new thread.

After car sat for 3 days, I started the car and right away I can tell it was not idling normally (not totally rough, but not normal). The ASR light came on and no response when I press the ASR button on the console. As I pull the car out of the driveway, I again notice the irregular idling (almost as if it is not firing on all cylinders); and I hear a slight belt screech noise. I pull over, stop the car and waited 5 seconds. Restart and everything is back to normal (no checklights or warnings).

This is the 2nd occurrence, the 1st time was about 6 months ago (also after starting the car in the driveway). This has never happened on the road, while driving. I am the original owner, regularly maintained and only 88,000 miles. Battery is less than 2 yrs old. Never had ABS issues, no other issues.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thx.

If the light was on, there should be a code in the engine computer & in the traction computer.

Most likely a voltage supply issue.
